news and agenda

Our foundation provided art materials and training manuals for the trainees of the Kirkuk Center for Torture Victims.

The training took place in June 2013 in Sulaymaniyah (Iraq/Kurdistan) with two trainers of the Hijman Degen Foundation.

The second meeting with the all the trainers (junior & senior) took place on the 19th of June 2013. From their own discipline all trainers shared their experiences. The result of these ideas and suggestions may make a valuable contribution to future trainings.

Request for training came from Srebrenica and the refugee camp "Domiz" near Duhok, Kurdistan, where over 150.000 Syrian refugees (including more than 40.000 children and adolescents) are staying right now.

At the moment our foundation is looking for funding to realize the trainings.

Our website is under construction and will be more up to date and accessible as soon as possible.
